Mead, Makers & Manuscripts – Sept 16th
Carw Gwyn is pleased to announce the return of the Mead, Makers and Manuscripts event on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026! In collaboration with Danu’s Wardrobe, a fantasy pop-up bookstore and immersive event producer, we will host another book swap and crafting evening where creativity abounds! Bring your books, crafting supplies, and historical or fantasy attire!
This month’s theme will be “Scholars and Scriveners” to mark the return of the academic season, so come in attire suitable for conservatories, scriptoria, or arcania – whether practical, historical or fantastical – and share your best costuming secrets! Some lightly used books related to the event’s theme along with some basic crafting supplies, including bookmarks and jewelry, will be available.
Please note, lighting at Carw Gwyn tends to be somewhat ‘atmospheric’, so bring supplemental lighting if required. The event is free to Carw Gwyn patrons. Dress for the occasion or simply come as you are! We look forward to seeing you at this latest Mead, Makers and Manuscripts event on September 16th!
